Today is the day!! Now, I can show off my latest pattern, Snowflake Lane! I designed this one last winter, but I didn’t finish it till mid-Feb. I figured it was too late in the season to spoil everyone's dreams of spring with a winter quilt. But, now is the perfect time to be thinking about the season ahead :)
I absolutely love snowflakes, and the fact they are already six-pointed made it an obvious choice for a block design. I made this quilt with two different sized snowflake blocks, plus the background buffalo check to give it a cozy cabin feel. You won’t believe how simple these blocks actually are… just watch my new YouTube tutorial video to see what I mean.
The pattern includes a second size/layout. The blue icicle color theme really changes the look!
So many of you joined my quilt along, last fall, to make The Wreath Quilt sampler. You've been asking for another quilt along ever since. Well, I think it’s time! We'll do a new lesson each week, and I'll make a little video tutorial and pack in all my tips to give you the best results. And, you'll have it all done by Christmas!
There is no charge for the quilt-along, but you must purchase the pattern to gain access to the closed Facebook group (sorry, this will only be hosted on FaceBook). We'll start weekly lessons on Tuesday, Oct 26th, but you'll be able to access those video lessons at any point in the week. Last year, we had such a good time as people shared their progress and encouraged each other. It was really a fun and festive community, and we were all sad when it came to an end.
