So here we go again :) Can you tell I’ve been a busy girl?! My latest pattern Semaphore Stripes is here!!

I loooooooove striped fabric (I know, quilters are suppose to be afraid to use stripes, but I can’t get enough of them), and I finally had the time to design this new pattern with stripes in mind. Seriously, they add so much movement and secondary designs to quilts, I don’t know how they have gotten such a bad rap.

Doesn’t this whole pile of fabric look great together? I started with these large scale stripes from Robert Kauffman and pulled a bunch of shades in coral, turquoise, gray and gold. It just looks like candy to me :)

By cross-cutting the stripes, instead of cutting with the stripes, you won’t have to worry about the accuracy of your piecing as much. And, you get all the visual value of what they bring to a quilt.

Here’s a little sneak peak at just how easy this quilt is! It’s all made with 2.5” strips; sew together then lay the 60 degree diamond ruler down the middle and cut it out as one piece! No tedious piecing here!

So in honor of yet another pattern launch, I figured it was high time for a storewide sale! You can buy Semaphore Stripes or any and all of my other patterns…. even the ruler for 25% off this week! Use coupon code Semaphore Sale in the shopping cart at checkout. (sale ends Sep. 30th).

Okay, one more photo of this fun new quilt :) We were lucky to get so many cool shots, recently, on a clear sunny day!
Happy Sunday, everyone!
